Jacksonville Hyundai dealer, Hyundai of St. Augustine, is celebrating the 2011 Hyundai Sonata’s recent recognition as the “Best Car to Buy 2011″.

The 2011 Sonata was at the top of The Car Connection’s numeric ratings among all vehicles with a base price of less than $50,000. In earning this award, the Sonata beat out even luxury competitors including the Acura TSX, the Infiniti M37 and the BMW 5-Series, among others.

The “Best Car to Buy Award” winner was chosen from a field of 40 nominees by the site’s editors, who road-test nearly every new vehicle introduced each year. Editors rated each vehicle for performance, styling, utility, features and safety, and then also assigned a green score. The group then incorporated opinions from the Web in each review.
